In previous match, West Indies has facing against Australia on Tuesday. In this match, West Indies has lost their match and has fell to disappointing six-wickets.

Australia has got semi-final based on this match.Sarwan soon went for 26 from 31 balls while Chanderpaul went for 24. From there, it was downhill for the Windies.

For the Aussies, S.P.D. Smith ended with three for 20 while D.J. Hussey and M.G. Johnson bagged two apiece.

Batting first after winning the toss before a full house of enthused fans at the Beausejour Cricket Stadium, the Windies boys crashed to a disappointing 105 off 19 overs as the Aussies turned on their bowling prowess.

Skipper Chris Gayle was the first to go, bowled by fast bowler Dirk Nannes off the second ball of the innings, for naught. And while the Guyanese batting duo of Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shiv Chanderpaul tried to the counter-attack in a second wicket stand of 34 off 28 balls, it was undeniable that the early loss of Gayle, who had been the backbone of the Windies win over India Sunday, had started to take it toll.
